Effect of Technology
In these years, our lives has been improving and improving. No doubt, the changes of people’s material lives come from the technology which has been getting better every moment. Technology has brought about many changes in our lives.
The technology brings us a great deal of conveniences. For example, if the air conditionings weren’t invented, then who is able to stand the high temperature? If the computers weren’t invented, then maybe we cannot connect with the other countries. In conclusion, it certainly reforms our lives.
But, conversely, these kinds of conveniences also bring Earth many troubles, global warming especially. The air conditionings make us feel good but it discharge a great many carbon dioxide which results in the serious problem. It is of great urgency to solve. In fact, if the air conditionings weren’t invented, then it wouldn’t result the problem. Of course even thought without the air conditionings, the weather would be cool. The scientists said that the global warming is getting stronger and stronger day after day, if it alone the step like now. After 50 years, the species of the world will disappear about 1/3 (聯合國跨政府氣候變化小組IPCC). It’s such a horrible problem, isn’t it?
So, the thing we should notice that how to improve our lives but do not break the works of natural. For example, we can take the bus or reduce driving car. Protect the environment against pollution by everyone.
